It was another brutal day for U.S. equity markets as policymakers and central banks face an increasingly uphill battle to combat the mounting economic effects of coronavirus-related shutdowns. The S&P 500 ETF (SPY) finished lower by roughly 5% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DIA) shed another 1,300 points. The broad-based commercial Real Estate ETF (VNQ) dipped nearly 10% today with all 18 REIT sectors in negative territory.
